Before Requesting.. SEARCH SimV FIRST!!!

What aircraft have you been unable to find after a long search? There may be an answer!

Before Requesting.. SEARCH SimV FIRST!!!

Postby pete » Thu Aug 07, 2003 5:27 am

Hi - before you post here please read these guidelines:

1. If requesting an aircraft please remember that creating an aircraft can take 100's of hours of dedicated work. & A virtual cockpit can take the same!

2. Please respect that designers usually design for themselves.

3. Please do not send people off to other large FS sites for aircraft we have at Simviation. (Search before you send.. :) )

4. Referrals to Designers & Specialised sites are particularly welcome.

5. & Finally .. Don't be lazy - make sure you have made an effort to search this site & the internet before you request aircraft. 8)

Thank you for finding an F9F Panther Jet, it looks really great!

I have been trying to find a "Northrop F-89 Scorpion" to fly in my Combat Flight Simulator 2. I can't seem to find one anywhere. Can you help me find one?

                                          Thanks again,

Just fo the record:
Russian stuff (commercial machines) is on the following sites (as are FDE updates which usually arent posted on the international sites for some reason)
www.avsim.ru <- This is the largest one at the moment
www.flightsim.ru <- Hasn't been updated for a while, seems to have some database problems sometimes

If it isn't there, probably it isn't made in a GMAX/FSDS(2) version yet.

FsInflight magazine has a nice article about how to navigate those sites... just remember that they have 2 pictures interchanged with each other, but oy can get that from the text
Russian planes: IL-76 (all standard length ones),  Tu-154 and Il-62, Tu-134 and [url=http://an24.uw.hu/]An-24RV[/ur

;D Good morning to the folks that work there tails off on the downloads for this site, it is aprecated!! I hav`nt really check out other places for an aircraft that has always caught my eye, a Commander 690 turbo. While I have seen some 680s in the downloads, I was just wondering ??? I think the state of CA. still flys one, maybe the Dept. of Corrections or one of the other state Depts.? Anyway, this aircraft, see it on the tube every once and awhile, looks like it just came from the beauty-palor!! Lots of chrome here and there on it, and it always looks sparkie. Stay Safe, Ray
