If you want to fly space craft try Orbiter. You can launch with the ET and SRBs, fly to and dock with ISS then reenter and land it's shuttle. There's also a shuttle add on that's even better than the default. Best of all none of it costs a penny.

Forum's down at the moment but it's got a really good forum too.  Just be patient. It takes a while to learn Orbiter because of the realistic physics.
