WWII Fighters

What aircraft have you been unable to find after a long search? There may be an answer!

WWII Fighters

Postby bm_727 » Wed Jan 07, 2004 4:38 pm

I am looking for a good World War 2 fighter aircraft for FS2002.  Any suggestions on specific aircraft (mustang, spitfire, etc...) or a specific file?

Thanks!

Either a Spit or a P-47 (Thunderbolt).  The P-51s around don't fly as well as the first two, but they sure do look good, especially the Reno package.

P47 "look ma no hands" has a great roll rate and is fun to fly.

Go to the downloads page here and look in FS2002 vintage. There is a couple of great Spitfires, and a number of other classic warbirds.
Also a lot of the CFS2 aircraft will work in FS2k2 ;)

There are two types of aeroplane, Spitfires and everything else that wishes it was a Spitfire!

I would add the P-38's by David Copely. They can be foiund here: http://www.kazoku.org/xp-38n/model/index.htm

Most of them have been updated for FS9 and he is currently finishing the ones that have not.

Well, there's this little Site called SIMVIATION and on the front page, there is a search function.  Simply type in Paul's name and go to town!  :)
