Well if you really don't mind paying, you could always goto
Lago.They have a Falcon and an AMX, and they're apparently working on a Hornet.

There's a freeware F-16 for FS2002/FS2004
It's a GMAX model and it's got a VC. You can download it from here
As for the F-18, there isn't any FS2004 fully compatible model out there yet.
There was even an F-15 recently released that comes with a VC for FS2004

yes check out Wirtanens F16 for fs9. beats the lago one in my eyes.
