Greetings Designers and others seeking designs.

I am, like most of you and avid flight sim'er and also an avid reader of military fiction novels. Especially Tom Clancy and Dale Brown.

I have seen a few aircrafts based on Dale Browns books, but I havent seen one based on his book titled "Day of the Cheeta."

This is an experimental F-15 with canards just aft of the cockpit, and has an longer main fuselage. Since I am not much of an artist, I had to search for an image of the cover of the book. And this is as close as I can get.

If you know of a site that contains a model of this aircraft I would greatly appreciate recieving it. Also since I am pretty much new to asking for designers, please let me know what it would take to get this model made...

Thank you.

Ah, the F-15 ACTIVE (Advanced Controls Technology for Integrated VEhicles), very nice; and definitely not fictitious. Sure would be nice to see this birdy in the virtual skies.

I didnt realize that the ACTIVE was actually a testbed...

but still, if anyone has the ability to create this model, I would most certainly appreciate it...

some of the things I would like to see in the model is the cockpit look around actually containing graphics of the plane. Some models I have downloaded are missing these

Standard grey military paint, and a decent panel.. doesnt necessarily have to contain a virtual panel, since I dont fly in that mode, maybe if you have the time to create that aspect it would make it that much better.

Thanks again.

Its an F-15B with thrust vectoring and 2 FA-18 elevators used as canards.  Should be simple for someone who has already designed an F-15.

this is just an update, I have found several images of the F-15B ACTIVE on several websited including one for NASA.

I am still very much interested in obtaining this plane for FS2k2. If you have it, or are willing to create it, or have already started working on it, I would appreciate any information. Thank you.
