Hi, all. Sorry about being ignorant, but I'm a novice to FS2002. I found in another website (www.pastpresentfuture.info) an add for an alien spacecraft (triangular, TR-3B) that was reported to be available in this (among others) web site for download to fly in FS2002. But I can't find it. Anyone know anything about it?
By the way, is there any way to use the guns on the planes?

Spacecraft don't fly very well in FS2002 unless they are aerodynamic. I haven't seen those you mention but I've tried the Alien Dropship and it just hops up and down and then flips over on it's back.

If you want to fly spaceships try Orbiter. It's a freeware space flight simulator that focuses on realistic orbital mechanics. It takes some learning and practice but it's a great program and it's free.

Oh, one thing, Orbiter doesn't come with sounds so you have to download an add on sound program. There'll be a link on the site to direct you to the author's site. He also is in the process of making an add on ship that has some amazingly detailed flight systems. It's worth checking out.

There is a gun effect. I'm not sure exactly what the file name is but it's for the default Corsair. It gives you firing guns (no sounds), tracers and falling shell casings.

Mercury,...

The TR-3A is probably the aircraft you are looking for.  I designed it a long time ago for FS2000 not 2002 so expect it to be a bit outdated, but the TR-3B is supposed to be a newer better version, hopefully out before FS2004 but I dunno,....

go to www.simviation.com/aeroworks and click on concepts and the TR-3A should be easy to find, but as I said, it is outdated.

The TR-3B with no textures yet:

As for aliens,...I really don't know about all that. LOL  ;D

Hi Mercury. The TR3B alien spacecraft you are refering to is at Flightsim.com . It was made ready for download this past Sunday. It's a 26mg file , so if you have dial-up, it will take some time to download. Hope this helps. :)
