The X-31A Vector is an ESTOL (extremely short takeoffs and landings) aircraft that Boeing has been working on for some time. The plane is being developed for the U.S. Navy, the Air Force, and the German Defense Forces.

yeah, id like to see one of these. I heard that this is to be the last manned X plane. The X31 is gonna serve as a research platform to gather info on thrust vectoring to be incorporated in other new fighters and will not be in active military service. Its like the F-15 ACTIVE, very nice design of an F-15 with cunards for extreme maneuverability but it wont see combat :-[

How are you going to model the TV? FS doesn't incorporate but I believe X plane does.

I thought that there was an FS2000 F-22 with thrust vectoring. Also, all the plane had to have would be the appearance of TV. For example tie the nozzles to the elevators and aileron so depending on which reacts, they they respond accordingly.
