Wanted. Thruster T 600 3-axis microlight

What aircraft have you been unable to find after a long search? There may be an answer!

Wanted. Thruster T 600 3-axis microlight

Postby Fozzer » Sat Apr 12, 2003 3:50 am

I have searched most of the well-known sites, (including Simviation... ;)...), for this microlight with no luck.
It is one of the most popular 3-axis microlights, manufactured and flying in the U.K.
...nose-wheel, tail dragger and float-planes!
Certainly one of the cheapest ways of purchasing an aeroplane for the price of a motor car, (in some cases, the price of a second-hand motor car)...!!
..and operating it on a "Permit To Fly" licence rather than the "very" expensive C of A aircraft PPL licence...!
(..do most of your own maintenance.... ;D...)...!

It is interesting to note in the aircraft press that the "cheap" second-hand "spam-cans", Cessna and Piper, are now nearing the end of their service life and the cheap options now are 3-axis and flexwing microlights, including home-builds.
Many flight schools now are buying microlights to compliment their Cessna 150/152 trainers...!
For further info have a peek here...

http://www.thruster.co.uk

Thanks to anyone who can guide me to one of these models.... ;D...!

Paul.

Fozzer where have you looked?

Ozzy

Hi Ozzy...!
Done a general Web search, only the Thruster company comes up.
Tried the major Flight Sim sites, here, Avsim, Flightsim, FSFreeware, etc,....nuffin'....!
The trouble is, it's a British manufactured plane and not very well known outside of this country by the flight-sim designers, most of whom live in the 'States....
So you would think that maybe at least one of the 6,640 Members who look in at the "Aircraft Wanted" board on a regular basis would rush up to me and say, "Hey Fozzer, this is where you can find it"!
...or am I being too optimistic... ::)...?

LOL...LOL...LOL...!

Cheers Mate... ;)...!

Fozzer have you tried any of the Australian or NZ sites, just microlights are v.popular down under and they often have stuff we don't see. Only thing I can think of mate, sorry.
