USAF Training Aircraft with tandem seats

What aircraft have you been unable to find after a long search? There may be an answer!

USAF Training Aircraft with tandem seats

Postby darmstadt_aaf » Mon Feb 17, 2003 12:13 pm

Hi,

I'm looking for:

F-16B(?) with tandem seats and the
A-10 with tandem seats.

I've spent a lot of time searching for these, but I couldn't find them. It would be great if someone could tell me where to find them.
By the way: I'm also looking for some realistic C-5 Galaxy sounds, because I'm not satisfied with the quality of the old FS98 sounds.

thx

For C5 sounds try over at flightsim.com, they have some sort of agreement with SkySound and I believe they've done a freeware package.

Seeing there was only 2, 2 seaters made in the A-10 I doubt anyone made a model of it. There is a A-10 crew cheif on the SIMHQ boards named Dice that has pictures of one of them but the 2 seater never made it into production.

I believe their is a 2 seater F-16 that Jamal did a while back. DC tailcode but the taxi speeds suck.
If there is an airshow with in 2 states of me I'm there

For the A-10 - twin, as far as i'm aware, has never been made for FS. What i would recommend is trying to get hold of Kirk Ollson's e-mail address and ask him if he would consider doing one to complement his OA-10 series he did for FS2000. If you can gather all the info and drawings for it before you contact him, that may help.
These drawings may help.....

The F-16D was indeed done by Jamal some time ago, and is currently the most accurate twin seat 'viper' around.
However, a new GMAX version is in production as we speak.

Wow, that's great! Gotta find Kirk Ollson's e-mail adress, hope he hasn't given up that project. But I can't find the F-16 twin seater. Can you give me the link? That would be fine.

trevyuk2001, yoy said there will be a new F-16 in Gmax? where? do they have a website? or Email?
I emailed Jamal and asked him to update his F-16D and add the avionic box that the Wild weasel and Israeli IF-16D got....

WWWWWOOOOWWWWW :o :o :o!!!1
Oh My God! looks so good!
Can you make an IF-16D? it's just a small addition to the basic model but will make me very glad ;)
By the way, you may all want to know, an Israeli F-16 crashed today during training mission north to Jenin. the pilot ejected. I just saw what happend to this plane... it didn't exploded, it was broken for large parts, and I saw the complete tail, wings and much more. It was probably an engine problem, one of the biggest bugs of the F-16. the Chamas said that two of his mans shot the F-16 down with machine gun. I don't know what F-16 model it was, but it was single seater A or C.
So... can you make the IF-16D? I will take care the colors and for now you can display it as a wild weasel's F-16... oOOOHH.... almost forgot! the IAF will recieve this year his new F-16I, that are like the IF-16D but with CFT's. can you make the F-16I too?
Thanks man

They shot the bird down with a machine gun? You have to be a VERY good sniper to hit an F-16 from the ground. But maybe it was a large machine gun (M-61, ZSU), but I don't think that Hamas terrorists have such guns...

Wow, it looks pretty bad. The only thing that has been left seems to be the tail.... The pilot can be glad he ejected in time...
