German Scret Projects?

What aircraft have you been unable to find after a long search? There may be an answer!

German Scret Projects?

Guten tag, Herr/Frau/Fraulein Fliegers!

Yeah, bad attempt at speakin' German, sorry about that...

Anyhow--along with everything else I've noticed, I see that there is no working Horten/Gotha Ho-/Go- 229/IX flying wing... I've seen several, but they either don't work, or the links are corrupt... I had one for CFS1, and it was awesome, but I couldn't ever get the .mdl converter or anything else to work... I was wondering, is there one currently in the works, or anywhere out there for download?

Also, I just spotted something on the History Channel about an enormous German flying-wing bomber, made for round-trip bombing raids from Berlin to New York--at an altitude of over 10 miles, and a speed in excess of 582 knautical miles per hour... Think it was called the 'Horten Ho-18,' or something like that... Crew of three, four jet engines, unique landing gear/engine mounting spars... Any clues about making his oddbaall aircraft?

Also on the program was the possible-fore-runner of the Russian MiG 15, called the Focke-Wulfe Ta-183 'Humpback'... It was rated in at a speed of about 512 knautical miles per hour, and a maximum altitude of 45,000 feet--absolutely great for it's time. It supposedly had 4 30mm cannons and wing racks for 4 aerial, wire-guided missiles...

I believe I speak for us all when I say " 'What If?' scenarios ROCK!!" If I'm wrong, do go ahead and let me know, but if not, how 'bout these three ideas--refreshed or new?

Yo ACE,
If your looking for a Ta-183 for CFS1 there are two that I know of:

One at Shigeru Tanaka's site (Shigeru's Aircraft Models) in the "Warbird" section.  I believe it downloads as a FS98 aircraft and will fly in CFS1.

The other is at the Alpha Simulations site (www.alphasim.co.uk) in the "freeware" section.  This Ta-183 can be downloaded for CFS1, but I believe it doesn't come with the "jet sounds", which is a must if you want to fly this aircraft.  Fortunatly the Alpha Simulations site also offers a free "jet sounds" as a seperate download!  I can't remember if this download comes with a "panel" or not.

 Hope this helps!
