RAF Lockheed Hudson for FSX.

Hi all.

Title says it all really. I have been searching, without success for a RAF Lockheed Hudson for FSX. I gather the Hudson was based on the Lockheed Super Electra.

Any help appreciated.

Zaphod.

Only one I know of is payware, and a good one I hear: http://www.mutleyshangar.com/reviews/kh ... hudson.htm

They sell through FS PilotShop now, for a better price as well: https://www.fspilotshop.com/product_inf ... ts_id=5268

And yes-- You're correct: The Hudson was a conversion of the Lockheed Model 14 Super Electra: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lockheed_Hudson

Good aircraft, credited with the first British shootdown of WWII if memory is serving me well.

Thanks for the reply.
I was really looking for a freeware model as I will only fly it now and again.
I love WW2 twin engine aircraft and just want a Hudson to add to my collection.
The search continues.

It appears to be a tough one to find. PC Aviator has the Virtavia model for half price this month: https://www.pcaviator.com/store/product ... 980&page=1 though the FSAddon version seems a better choice. If only flying it occasionally then perhaps Milton Shupe's fine freeware Lockheed L-18 Lodestar with the right livery may suffice? - https://simviation.com/1/search?submit= ... p&x=16&y=6 - a mildly-stretched L-14 and a fun hand flier. Happy hunting.

Thanks for that link akoyeh.

A lovely aircraft by Milton Shupe as always and just what I was looking for. If only it had an upper turret it would have been really perfect but a great aircraft.

Thanks again akoyeh.

If you've not gave Mr. Shupe's Beech AT-11 Kansan a shake-down then perhaps you might like her too, turret and all: https://simviation.com/1/search?submit= ... &x=17&y=16 and his Harpoon is also mighty fine

Milton Shupe and Richard Dreyfuss have much in common. Neither put out bad work. :-)
