No...I have

What aircraft have you been unable to find after a long search? There may be an answer!

No...I have

Goodly Morning All... <<q

No...I have not fell out of my rocker...

Have a look at the below Link...what I am interested in is the Old Sailing Ships attached to a Balloon, Blimp or Derigible with Sails in various positions.

Have seen these in some Walt Disney Pictures and not sure where else on television. Believe me, we do not watch much television, perhaps the Weather Report and the News.

Would like to know if there are any of these available for Microsoft FSX :?: Payware or Freeware, doesn't matter :)

I think they would be fun to have with working cannons, sails, controls etc.

I know there are several Blimps on the Simviation Download Site and have used those but something like one of these flying monstrosities could be interesting to say the least...

There's one for FS9, but it does not play well with FSX/P3D unless you like fiddling with it's textures and gauges.

They remind me of the old steam/sail powered ships where people didn't trust a ship that didn't have sails.

Just like me in fact. How can you trust yourself to an aircraft that doesn't have propellers! :snooty:

As for a Zeppelin-NT, minus the ship, you can get a pretty nice one (for free)

I double checked (Loaded it in my laptop) No gauge problems, but the prop texture appears to look like a solid wood disk. Also, it's a bare-bones ship, nothing overly fancy, and I think you have to start from a water port or in the air.

Thanks for the links to the pictures.
I also enjoy the ship/blimp combinations, mostly in FS2004, & I also have a 'Steampunk'ed themed desktop on my laptop.

In one og Garry Smith's sceneries (Timor) from the Ford Tri-Motor project, he actually has a runway on top of a blimp!, (FS2004)

Cheers,

Here's another one with an airstrip. It's for AI Carriers 2, though.
