Tried to do this myself but couldn't get it to work. Curious if anyone has tried to merge the TDS 787 model with the Opensky 777 vc and panel? The 787's avionics are closer to the 777 than the 737 so I feel it would be a better fit.

If you check the File Libraries at the 'other' FS Sites, there are quite a few 787 Panels that merge nicely with the TDS Model, and have been made specifically for each of the different Variants.

Look for "Ken Wigginton".

Hope this helps...

You are talking VC (not simple 2d panel) Almost surely cannot be done as the 777 isn't FSX native whereas the 787 is fsx native.

If you have a fsx native model (look at the .mdl file (open with notepad) inside the 'model' folder and on 1st line you will see MDLXMDLH (fs2004 will be MDL8MDLH)
you can add the interior model from another fsx native model

Pete pretty much spelled it out, FS2004 models are single model aircraft, the FSX models are 2 model aircraft where you have a separate model for exterior view and another model for interior view.
To use the interior model of the 777 in the 787 you would be tying to fly 2 planes at once and FSX will crash out to desktop. One of the reasons I have been working on a add on 777 VC that can be added to the SkySpirit 777's as well as other aircraft's when I get done.
