WANTED: DHC-?

What aircraft have you been unable to find after a long search? There may be an answer!

WANTED: DHC-?

Postby OldAirmail » Sun Jul 12, 2015 6:47 am

Lately, I've been interested in small, rugged, aircraft such as the de Havilland DHC-2 or DHC-6

Particularly the passenger versions. Amphibious capabilities might be interesting too.

Checking online we have two pages of DHC-?

If it were only two or three downloads, I'd give them a try.

Long story short: Does anyone have a commercial or freeware DHC-2 / DHC-6 that they can recommend?

OAM,

In my humble opinion, the Standard for the Dash 2 is still the Aerosoft version. Yes, she's getting a little long in the tooth, but until Milviz releases their Version, the Aerosoft Amik is still the one to beat. Every variant is available (Floats, Amphib, Skis, TT, Std.) except for the -2T (PT6), with either 'old' or 'new' Panels.

For the Twotter... again, Aerosoft, with their Twin Otter Extended:

Hope this helps!

Good morning OldAirMail...

If you can wait this simulated aircraft should be on the market soon...

There is also a Link to contact them and send in the Liveries you would like to see...

Have been in contact with them for some time now and they are wonderful folks to obtain information from and answer many of my questions...especially about wheel ski settings... ;)

Take a look at my post DeHavilland of Canada DHC-3 wanted right here in this Forum...

I do use the Aerosoft Flight Simulator X DeHavilland of Canada DHC-2 Beaver Payware.

It is not too bad but an older version of the Payware Beaver.
