Hi all,
Can anyone find me a TDS Boeing 737-800 for FSX. Basically a full model with VC, download and fly.
I've looked everywhere, even tried TDS support on facebook, they were not very helpful.
I don't think it been released for FSX yet, but I could be wrong.

Hello!

Unfortunately, none of the airplanes designed by TDS are equipped with a VC. The preferred option is to 'merge' the VC and Panel from a different airplane with the TDS 737-700 Model. I don't think there's a 'complete' package available for Download that has everything you're looking for.

I think Viper is correct. TDS didn't make a FSX native version of the 737-800 and therefore it cannot be merged with another FSX vc.
Alternatively use the 737Max8 or the TDS 700 or otherwise choose the Posky 737-800's with VC. All these are made in FSX native models.

I figured TDS didn't do a native FSX model of the 737-800, as I couldn't find one, but I thought I'd check.
Does anyone know why they haven't done one, because it would be so popular, just like their 737-700 and 737 8max in FSX

The folks at TDS don't have a VC Modeler on staff. Kyle S. stated once that to develop a VC/ Wing Views would be very intensive work, and outside their current capabilities as a Modeling Group. There are also some issues with trying to merge Panels and Features from the Payware airplanes like PMDG, Friendly Panels, etc. and getting all of the functions to work.

I have both the TDS 787 Series and the 737NG, and I've found that these airplanes work best with the Wilhelm Hudetz 3rd party Freeware Panels (787/737NG), and the PSPanels 737NG freeware add on. In any event, you'll have to 'cobble' together the ideal configuration that works for you.

For me, it's no big deal if there's no Wing Views or VC; they were never something that would detract from my overall Sim experience, and I know that view is contrary to what many others think.

I have made an package of the 737-800 TDS with VC, but i didn't get permission from TDS to release it due the problems thay encounter on their facebook group. But if you would like to have it, i will send you the file personal by mail. And if you encounter some issues then you an contact me.

There is this one. Depending on what other repaints were made for this model you will be able to add textures


Not to mention all the 100's of Posky/Skyspirit 737Max8's + NG + 800's/ 700's/600's/ 900's with VC that are already in existance
