When I first started downloading freeware airplanes for FS9, back pre-FSX, prolly around 2005, i found a couple of really great models once in a while (either here, or on flightsim.com or hovercontrol) that when i went to back to download on a subsequent reinstall, I couldn't find them. Turned out they were payware models that had been uploaded, and then subsequently reported and deleted, all unknownst to me, who just showed up and clicked "new files" every few days. I remember an Alphasim PaveLow or Sea Stallion or something that I got sans gauges. I renamed the pfd, mfd, gauges with ones in my folder and flew that heli a lot. Didn't even know it was payware till I saw a repaint for the Alphasim model, and recognized it as one that had been included with my "freeware helicopter".
On a side note, that's one of the ways that I realized just how much better payware planes are than freeware planes, as far as model quality, with a few exceptions of course (Tim Conrad, PAD, Massimo Taccoli, Eugene Hart, the Lyons, Dino Cattaneo, a few others I can't rattle off so easily all build payware quality freeware). It also alerted me to the massive amounts of attempts at uploading copyrighted mats that the library managers at sites like this have to deal with.
So anyway, moral of the story is:
You might look at some payware 737-200's and see if you spot yours.
And if you do, shell out a few bucks and buy it, because if its worth it, its worth it.
