I'm crazy for asking, but are we talking about FS2004 or FSX and would you by any chance remember the airline name?

I'm not saying this is what happened to you, but let me tell you a little story about my FS experiences.

When I first started downloading freeware airplanes for FS9, back pre-FSX, prolly around 2005, i found a couple of really great models once in a while (either here, or on flightsim.com or hovercontrol) that when i went to back to download on a subsequent reinstall, I couldn't find them. Turned out they were payware models that had been uploaded, and then subsequently reported and deleted, all unknownst to me, who just showed up and clicked "new files" every few days. I remember an Alphasim PaveLow or Sea Stallion or something that I got sans gauges. I renamed the pfd, mfd, gauges with ones in my folder and flew that heli a lot. Didn't even know it was payware till I saw a repaint for the Alphasim model, and recognized it as one that had been included with my "freeware helicopter".

On a side note, that's one of the ways that I realized just how much better payware planes are than freeware planes, as far as model quality, with a few exceptions of course (Tim Conrad, PAD, Massimo Taccoli, Eugene Hart, the Lyons, Dino Cattaneo, a few others I can't rattle off so easily all build payware quality freeware). It also alerted me to the massive amounts of attempts at uploading copyrighted mats that the library managers at sites like this have to deal with.

So anyway, moral of the story is:
You might look at some payware 737-200's and see if you spot yours.
And if you do, shell out a few bucks and buy it, because if its worth it, its worth it.

It's extremely rare here that such a thing will happen. Probably 2 times in our entire history.

Agree with jcj, the only other ones I would add to that list for this particular Boeing model, or similar feel, would be T. Ruth or E. Cantu models. I don't believe Ruth made a 737, only his 727 and Cantu's would be FS9 port overs without a VC.

A couple good payware -200's out.

I have never seen one with a VC.

I have the CS 100 and 200 and absolutely love
those Baby Boeings. Worth every cent.

at 1 time, about 2 years ago there was a Boeing 737-100 - or - 200 model that showed up on a flight sim site that had a Virtual Cockpit, it wasn't payware but as I recall, it was an attempt to put a VC in the Tinmouse 737 model.

I grabbed it, tried it, and well,, scrapped it !

Why ????

Because tho the effort was a good thought, nothing much worked in the VC, and there were fairly big gaps in the cockpit where ya could see daylight or whatever where the panels met together.

to me it resembeled a cardboard box pieced together that not all the parts fit together correctly, none of the gauges worked or switches !

Now that'd look really good in a Video, Huh ???????

So that's why I scrapped it - Off to the Download junk barrel 55 gallon drum :o

But I would give whoever the Person was an A for Effort tho

I don't believe that particular model 737 stayed up on the site, very long, and I can't remember which site it was, I don't think it was this one, but then I can't remember .

In the last 2 years I've broke in everybodys Hanger and stole over 4,000 Aircraft, and now I have so many Aircraft I can't remember where all I got them from off the top of my noggin' !!

But I do remember that 1 particular 737-100-200 Model with a sketchy Virtual Cockpit. :ugeek:

Anyway,,,,, Happy New Year 2015
