Taylorcraft L-2 Grasshopper

What aircraft have you been unable to find after a long search? There may be an answer!

Taylorcraft L-2 Grasshopper

I'll admit that I have a strange dark side. I read for entertainment.

At the moment I'm into the third book in The Brotherhood of War series.

I've been toying around with the idea of creating a list of the airplanes in WEB Griffins books, and possibly assembling a collection of links to flight sim versions of those planes. As of now there isn't even a list of those planes. Not that I can find anyway.

One of the planes from his "Honor Bound" series that I enjoy very much is the Focke Wulf Fw 200 Condor from here at SimViation.

HELP NEEDED
That was hard to find, but what is giving me a fit is trying to find an FSX Taylorcraft L-2 Grasshopper. A very light utility plane from the beginning of WWII.

How about this version; Auster...>>> http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Taylorcraft_Auster

Lots of them in the Flight Sims, especially FS 2004.

An aircraft (Gypsy Major-engined Auster Aiglet) I have flown in the British Army in 1956.....a Spotter aircraft.

Paul... :mrgreen: ...!
Win 8.1 64-bit. DX11. Advent Tower. Intel i7-3770 3.9 GHz 8-core. 8 GB System RAM. AMD Radeon HD 7700 1GB RAM. DVD ROM. 2 Terra Byte SATA Hard Drive. Philips 17" LCD Monitor. Saitek Cyborg X Fly-5 Joystick. ...and a Briggs and Stratton Petrol Lawn Mower.

So far in The Brotherhood of War series, starting with the bottom three;
Stinson L-1 Vigilant (AKA O-49)
Taylorcraft L-2 Grasshopper (AKA YO-57)
Stinson L-5 Sentinel (AKA YO-54)

Some of those are in several forms: CFS, FS98, & FS2004.

But I haven't been able to find any of them in FSX. :cry:
