Can anyone tell me what changes I can make to Manfred Jahn's L-1049G Super Connie to make it more user-friendly? I can look at the model all day, but flying it... not so much. You almost have to be a real-life Connie engineer to fly the thing. 9 fuel tanks, which have to be manually managed, all sorts of engine management factors-- I'd rather just assume there's a competent engineer back there, and he's doing his thing. Also, it won't seem to go anywhere near it's service ceiling, 16,000 is about the limit. It may well be another engine management thing I haven't found yet in the manual.
