Goodly afternoon all... :D

Just checked out the Simviation Download Site again and I see in the FSX>Props Downloads there is another DeHavilland of Canada single engine turbo Otter package which is wonderful.

I am wondering if someone will design for FSX a DeHavilland of Canada single radial engine (P&W R1340) Otter Aircraft in all configurations?
Configurations: wheel, wheel/ski (4 or 5 settings...Full Up, 3/4, 1/2, 1/4 & Full Down ski) floats and amphibian
Liveries: Royal Canadian Air Force and some Ontario Civilian Companies would be nice like Austin Airways, White River Air Service, Department of Natural
Resources

The DeHavilland of Canada single engine radial in FS2004 does not work well in FSX...switches and gauges are either missing or do not work

Thanks... <<q

You can check this site out and see if you can come up with something there in the mean time..

Thanks FoMoCo63 but all they have are Turbo Otters and Beavers also.

Have been all over including the search on the internet and can not find anything.

I think the radial engine DHC-3 Otter would need to be designed from scratch to work with FSX and whatever else comes along after FSX.

Cheers... <<q

Good afternoon all... :D

Looks like someone read my requests about the DeHavilland of Canada DHC-3 Radial Engine Otter I posted several times.

Take a look at the extra pictures at the bottom of the above link page. WOW... <<q

Now why has someone not done this for FSX?

Spent several hours reading about X Plane and Prepare 3D but have not downloaded the demo yet.

Almost scared to just because I would probably delete Microsoft FSX...

Out of order.

Why should anyone do it...they will if they want. If no one wants to then it will not be done.

Evening Folks... :D

Got a reply back from the e-mail I sent to Carenado.

Sent them some information on the DeHavilland of Canada DHC-3 Otter and how there was one available for X Plane.

Got a wonderful reply back saying that the DHC-3 Otter was on their List but it was a Long List.

Hopefully it will appear soon.
