When a shuttle is in orbit it is faster than renetry, or the apollos when pretty quickly to the moon.

(I never get why they call it Rentry because to renter you have to of entered before, to rentry?)

The fasting thing these days, full stop, is probaley that atomic powered thing they sent out towards pluto.

Its re-entry, bacuse you are re-entering the earths atmosphere.

No your not; your entering the earths atmosphere,

You can only re-entry if you have entered before

NOTE: the prefix Re means to do again.

There was an Su-27 Flanker under the fs2002 military jets page. Either flight dynamics problems, or just something wrong, I got it to mach 3 pretty easily with afterburner in leveled flight and held it for a few minutes. But in reality, I would say the shuttle. GOt mach 5 out of Nick's Space Shuttle Landing Challenge.

I think FS2002 had a 999/1000 kts speed limit.

No idea what it is an FS2004, i cant seem to get near any limit except that posed buy the a/c own flight dynamics.
