The Awesome 4Some pack here at SimV includes 16 higher-res repaints as well as additional models (including skis) for the FSX default DC-3. Most models include additional 'eye candy' when parked.

If you browse/search the SimV FSX Vintage section you'll find other repaints for the default and the Awesome 4Some DC-3.

At that time [1909] the chief engineer was almost always the chief test pilot as well. That had the fortunate result of eliminating poor engineering early in aviation.
