What sim?  FS2004 or FSX?
At that time [1909] the chief engineer was almost always the chief test pilot as well. That had the fortunate result of eliminating poor engineering early in aviation.

The only dc-4 I know of is Jens K.'s V-3  found here-http://simviation.com/1/search?submit=1&keywords=dc-4+buffalo&categoryId=54. I'll assume you're interested in Buffalo Airways. There is a Buffalo livery for the water bomber. The textures can be used on the other models to create a pax or cargo version.

There is a link to a cyzf scenery here-http://www.freewarescenery.com/fsx/canada.html. Haven't tried it yet, but looks like a decent layout, but uses generic buildings.

Just installed the scenery. Works well with default dscenery. If you use UTX-Canada it needs some work to remove autogen obstacles from taxiways.....
