I'm looking too. I found one made by IDG, I found it right here on Simvation. It has problems though. use the search engine and type B1B lancer and it should come up. there is also a flight dynamics download that you'll need and a sound file too. I found another one here on this site but its not finished as the author says in the intro. You can try it in FSX not sure it will work. ACOTC is another one I found it can be used in 2004 and FSX  but it too has some problems You can find exactly where to get it by writing to the author at chuckye@myway.com  I hope thia helps but I'm afraid if you want a really beautiful one that has no problems you'll have to pay for it, unless you can fix the individual problems that the IDG model has.

I found one at Transload virtual Airlines site. I read from somebody that the plane wasn't that good especially on landing and problems taking off with too much fuel. I found out that the plane that you end up downloading from transload is the same plane made by I3d group. But there are some differences. The one I loaded from simviation won't fly at all just after take off, but the one I got from Transload flys really good. Well not really good but not bad either know what I mean? The panel is different from Transload. So I think the simviation download has something really wrong with it stay away from it. But I do reccomend Transload plane. I3d Made some changes to Transloads  version. So unless you want to spend $25 bucks on Alphasims version then I would say load it up from Transloads site. Good hunting. :)

Whatever you do, don't get the one from Alphasim.  It's direct from fs9 and it is visually challenged, especially in the VC, to be nice.

The one from I3D I believe did have several problems with it. Things like the flight model, the contact points for the wheels, no sound, and more. However a while back I messed around with it and got it to work pretty decent by changing a few things. I'll try to remember this weekend to look it up again and see what I did and post it here.

My specs... A hard drive, motherboard, graphics card, some memory, a keyboard, mouse, and monitor - in other words, nothing special.

[quote]Resurecting this thread for a good cause......

...a quite nice B-1 I stumbled across last night!

Flies very nicely, decent animations, tops out at Mach 3.
About the only "downside" is the controls are only able to be moused-over in the 2D 'pit view.

Holy shazbat!  I'd never heard of them before.  Now I feel like a total idjit. :-[

I apologize, but I really did not know. :'(   Hoover dam!!!!!!!

Should've known something was up with the 'product' description.....the whole "polish" thing.

Please do delete.......or better yet, I think I can still delete any mention, and screenshots, of the stolen stuff.

The IDG is the only freeware B-1 ever made for FS, and it's a FS2002 model.

The fact that it even shows up in FSX is amazing.  ;)

There are two payware versions, the FS9 one from Alphasim, and another on the way from someone else, but I don't think it has a VC.  ;)

Can this aircraft be obtained through more legitimate channels?Looks good and if it's payware, where can I get it?
I'm awfully fond of the B-1B and I hear that Alphasims' version isn't great. I would love to have a good model of this A/C :)

Wow! I  have to say I too am sorry. I did not know that Duncan was Pirated stuff. I don't visit the forums very often and I was just tryin to help somebody find something. I love the B-1 and when I found that one it was a huge leap forward from the 2002 version. I understand the frustration of tryin to get good versions of certain planes but I also agree Pirated stuff just hurts us all in the long run. So I guess we will have to wait till somebody tackles  the B-1 project again or fixes the 2002 version. :-[

I found one at Farmboys flightsim under the Heavies section. Its the I3d plane with 4 textures. looks good. somebody fixed the flight problems and it flys pretty good. I switched the cockpit panel out, but otherwise I think its the best out there except payware. Good Luck.
