Monsterous Cargo Planes?

What aircraft have you been unable to find after a long search? There may be an answer!

Monsterous Cargo Planes?

Postby Mistro » Tue Mar 03, 2009 5:18 pm

I'm looking for HUGE cargo (or passenger) planes. Are there any such downloads available? What are the biggest choices available? Thanks.

Edit: Must have Virtual Cockpit.  :)

Not sure about for FSX, but for FS9 (some of which should work in FSX)

You have a few options, for the real life stuff, can't get much bigger than the An-225

HOWEVER....

If you don't have to have a 'real life' airplane then may I suggest this mighty beast: (at the bottom of the page)

FS2004 EA-Super600X-2 Cargo  This aircraft is to my knowledge the largest Sim Cargo aircraft in the Sim world. This aircraft may be demanding on some systems depending on your machine. Be sure to read the notes text document. If you like the challenge of flying large aircraft this is a good one to try. Features= Water Landable/Front And Rear Opening Cargo Doors/Animated= Gear,Pilot, Wheels,Suspension,Controls,Control Surfaces, Spoilers,Leading Edge Flaps/VC/Tinted VC Windows/Mach 1.05 IAS At 30,000/Folding Wings/ Three Paints Chrome S600X-2/U.N./U.S.A.F./ Reverse Thrust Backing/Outboard Pontoons for Water Land/Full lighting/Freedom of Customization/ Model Paint and Concept by Greg Ebnit. 7.9MB

Makes a 747 look like a 737 in comparison. :o :o

You can't beat my favourite stunt plane the An-225 ;)

There are two types of aeroplane, Spitfires and everything else that wishes it was a Spitfire!

I'd love to see you do some of those stunts with the one mentioned above. Now that would be something spectacular! ;)

Thanks for verifying that it does indeed work in FSX, I wasn't sure about that. And it's nice to know I'm not the only one who knows the file library like that. ;D ;)

From your edited request of VC, it's either that one, or not much else. ;)

The An-225 doesn't have one. :'(

:'(

Well at least the EA-Super600X have one. Will read carefully before trying it out. Looks very challenging.

Ok, how about the biggest planes available with VC that are bigger than average? Don't have to be a Star Cruiser. Thanks again.
