Mmmmmmm . . . I'll give you SIMILAR, but not the same aircraft.
(Le sigh) Take a look for yourself:
SWITCHBLADE
"STEALTH"
DIFFERENCES:
Intakes
Vert Stablizers -Stealth has ruddervators, Switchblade has elevators
Nose - Switchblade is pointed, Stealth is curved like a bird's neck
Engines - Stealth has some funky cowling over the exhaust tubes, Switchblade's are exposed
Pilots - Switchblade is two-person, Stealth is one
SIMILARITIES:
Variable-geometry wings
Canards
Stealth was most likely based off the Switchblade, but by no means mimics it in performance characteristics. No aircraft performs that way. Too high an AoA, not enough climb capacity, no adherence to G limits, etc.
Sorry for going a little kooky, here, but this kind of thing really grates against me, as I come from a family of pilots. I was taught early on what can fly and what can't, and brother, that "Stealth" aircraft ain't gonna float . . .
