Stearman with a cowling?

What aircraft have you been unable to find after a long search? There may be an answer!

Stearman with a cowling?

Postby gryshnak » Fri Dec 16, 2005 5:52 am

I'm looking for a Stearman biplane to repaint in the Utterly Butterly colours.

I've got Dave Eckert's Stearman and I'd love to use it (what a brilliant design!) but the Utterly Butterly machines have cowled engines.  I haven't a clue how to convert Dave's Stearman, or even if it's possible in the first place.  So is there a cowled Stearman out there anywhere else?

Well, I think I found one, but it's for FS2000.  It does, however, have a VC, so it may be worth the effort.

If it won't work in ACOF, try contacting the author.  He may be willing or able to provide you with an updated version.

BTW, that repaint looks like a real pain to do!! ;)
