A good 150 and 152?

What aircraft have you been unable to find after a long search? There may be an answer!

A good 150 and 152?

Postby Politically Incorrect » Sat May 14, 2005 5:48 am

I am wanting a good Cessna 150 and 152 that is possibly freeware.
I have tried a couple and they either fly awefull or are just to unrealistic.
i have downloaded the Carenado free 152 and like it but it lacks the VC and I would prefer a virtual cockpit if available.
Any help and direction to some files to try is appreciated!

Me too. I wasn't impressed by the ones I found. Maybe Fozzer would know of one? ::) I'll drop him a line with the thread link.

Thanks Fozzer, the CC-KDF is the one I tried this morning and although it is very nice (the best yet) it has no VC, I like the VC becasue then I can pan my view to llok around.
Never tried it but I probably can set the regular cockpit so that I can pan view in it ??
I'm going to give these others a try also!
Thanks again!!
And thanks Ben for dropping the note ;)

Real air has a freeware modification of the original default cessna. It's supposed to be very good

Real Air Simulations have a good cessna 172.

If interested, search for 'ras172_fs9.zip' at avsim.

No problem.

I got all of them on the page and thought they were quite nice.  Tried out only one of them though.

I find it funny one of the most used, most sold, most built aircraft in the workd and it is the hardest to find a decent model for FS9 ??? Go figure.
I have however noticed there is one that is payware that looks well worth the money ;)

Reason my sudden intrest in a well modeled 150/152, my buddy that I built the website with has just started taking lessons, and he would also like a good model to practice with, I know FS9 has helped me along so it should him also.
So if you can think of any other well modeled "trainers" you think we might be interested in please let me know, i may aleady have one but the last  5 months I have departed FS9 and went into "combat" so I have missed a lot!!! and need to catch up some.

Yeah, if it was that serious (for real life practise) it may well be worth paying for a payware model.  ::)
