Terrain Help...

Postby FlierForLife » Fri Aug 12, 2011 7:30 pm

Hey guys, whats up? Lately I have been fooling around with FSX SDK, building fun little airfields and such, but I have a question that I can't seem to find elsewhere. How do you "mold" FSX's scenery. By this I mean turning a flat airfield into a   challenging sloped runway STOL strip, or building a runway into a tight spot, like at Mountain Air in North Carolina (see pic below). Basically, i'm tired of flat airport grounds, I want a challenge! Can this scenery molding of sorts be done with FSX SDK, or do I need an external program?

Notice how to airport has a hill next to the runway and the runways thresholds are almost drop offs. The default FSX Mountain Air (2nc0) is a flat slab of land, how sad!

Hopefully you can understand that... Help is greatly appreciated!!!
