Getting started using SDK

Postby Muddflaperon » Fri Jul 01, 2011 1:08 pm

Been simming since FS5 but am just getting started in design.  Can anyone direct me to how I would create custom navaids?  VOR, VOR/DME, TACAN, etc, and airport layout/design.  I've installed SDK, but can't seem to figure out it's interface.  Does it have a stand-alone UI?  How do I incorporate what I've designed into the FSworld?  I've Googled everything and there doesn't seem to be much on the executive architecture of the software, just the nuts and bolts of actually writing the code.

Though there are a few user tools available in the SDK, scenery and airport design are not among them.

At that time [1909] the chief engineer was almost always the chief test pilot as well. That had the fortunate result of eliminating poor engineering early in aviation.
