Lost Gauges

Postby Capt._Viper » Sun Feb 27, 2011 8:34 pm

I have had the gauges in the default Baron 58 (FS9)disappear from the panels, both 2d and VC as well.   The cabinette is still in place and have back copied it to the panel file.
Any ideas?

Does the 2d panel .bmp still show?

In any case, check to see if the panel.cfg is still intact.
At that time [1909] the chief engineer was almost always the chief test pilot as well. That had the fortunate result of eliminating poor engineering early in aviation.

Panels show up in both cases, just no gauges.

Okay, I found and reinstalled the beech_baron.cab...now can you tell me where the cpt.x.cabs' are at?
After the restart, I found some switches or rocker switches still

There are no default files by that name (or name form) in FS9. They must have come from an add-on aircraft or panel.

Are those gauge names being used in your FS9 default Baron panel.cfg?

No, these are in the fs9 gauge folder and it seems that they are installed with the rest of the sim.

Dave is correct. The cpt gauges are not default. Can you paste a copy of your Baron Panel.cfg here.

Edit: I think the file you're looking for is posted here. http://simviation.com/1/search?submit=1&keywords=fpem1201.zip&categoryId=
Click on the 'Toggles for FS2004 Embraer 120' link. It includes cpt.toggles.king.CAB

I've had the same problem found out some of the guages were replaced when i installed several new AC. I found all FS9 default AC were missing gauges or switches so i did a fresh reinstall and didn't overwrite the files this time.

I recently had to replace my video card in my Windows XP Computer. Now when I fly CFS 2 and try to go to the VC of add on planes, the gauges no longer show up but they do show when I go to the VC panel of the Default planes.
Can anyone tell me a fix for this? I have completely uninstalled CFS 2 and then reinstalled it and just added one add on plane to try and it had the same result.
I went from an Nvida 7600 to an Nvidia 9500 using a PCIe slot.

Thanks
