Adding Library Objects in ADE

Postby Brett Hill 2 » Sun Jul 26, 2009 12:28 pm

I am new to scenary building and I am having trouble getting some scenary to show up in the object library manager in ADE. these objects which I have been trying have all been produced by various different people and all have the same method of installation, place the main folder which contains a scenary and texture folder into the addon scenary library than add it into the scenay library in FSX just like any other scenary addon. I rescan the database in ADE and I still cant find them in there using the GUID code or the name.

Any idea what I am doing wrong?

In Library Object Manager Click the Tools Menu and Add Objects.  Navigate to the Bgl file containing the objects and import it.

How to do it is in the manual Page 49

Not sure what you mean.  ADE9 works the same as ADEX.  In both cases you import bgl file data into the Library Object Manager.

Or do you mean where do you get the object libaries from?  Well check out the main FS download sites - there are lots of libraries available for FS9.  Install them into an active scenery folder in FS9 and then import the data into ADE.
