Transparent Runways?

I installed the SP1 the other day and large airports have transparent runways. Princess Juliana, San Francisco, Sacramento, and Area 51's runways that let the ground beneath them show through. Is there a fix for this? :-?

Also, I have a real crap system, and I only run about 7 FPS In the middle of the ocean. So, I didn't really see the advertised 20-50% increase in performance. Does SP2 help that?

Turn off bloom and ai traffic and you will run great

As for the runway issue, I believe that was a DX10 problem, If you have it try running in DX9

Well since you don't know what DX10 is, you probably don't have it....


Did you try modifying/ installing new textures on the runway?

Uhh... No... Is there a place where I can get new ones? I know I know so many questions. Harvard rejected me for asking so many... Just kidding...
