Using the FA-18 V.C.

HI,

Is it possible to use the VC from the FA-18 in another aircraft, if so, how would i go about this???

i believe that you can.....


open the F18 PANEL FOLDER and copy/paste all files EXCEPT for the panel.cfg to the plane that you want the VC in.


Now, open the RECEIVING airplanes panel.cfg and DELETE the [vcockpit] sections.

go back to your F18 and copy ITS [vcockpit] sections and copy paste it to the panel.cfg of the plane that you want it to be in. 

save your work, and go start FS and see if the VC is working.

Thanks for that. I had a go but unfortunately, and with further research, it seems you can not use it in an FS9 plane.

Though oddly, the HUD seems to have worked as its now the F-18 one, which is an improvement over the HUD the plane came with.
