Finaly, someone gave me step by step instructions on uninstalling/reinstalling FSX/Accel Pack and now I have MFDs and a HUD in the FA-18. So now I have a couple of operational questions:
First, I saw a selection on the HSI screen that I believe is for tacan. Does this plane have a tacan? It is a military machine. And if it does have one how is it used?
Second, is there a way to get target/tracking info on the HUD or maybe change the HUD display to A/A or A/G?

Hey what were the steps? I have the same problem as you and really need help.. I know how you felt cause I feel the same.

I went through this step by step to the letter and now everything works fine. Only thing is, right after he says to insert disk 2 he says don't launch the game but go right into SP1 patch install, I couldn't install SP1 without first registering which means launching the game to where it asks for the key. This apparently doesn't matter much because it still worked fine. I pray this works for you like it did for me.
