Add new airfield?

Hi,

I live in Brisbane, Queensland, and I was wondering if it's possible to add an airfield to FS2004.

For some reason, Caboolture airfield is missing and I'd like to have it added to the game and, importantly, the map also. Is this possible?

I have a scenery add-on, but I don't think it will add the location on the map. I don't want to install the entire VOZ package either, since my system can't really handle it.

Cheers :)

Afcad v2.21-http://www.simviation.com/simviation/static.php?ID=201&page=1-to add or modify airports. New airports and associated nav aids become part of the airport database thus will appear in the selection list, maps and GPS. Afcad designs the surface elements like runways, taxiways, surface markings and lighting, etc. and 'invisible' elements like comm and navaid freqs. It includes an excellent user manual.

To easily add hangers and other 3-d elements you'll need a scenery object placer program like (freeware) Rwy12 or SBuilder-http://www.simviation.com/fsdesign_scenery8.htm, or payware like Instant Scenery by Flight1-http://www.flight1.com/products.asp?product=instscen.

We'll move this thread to scenery design where you should get a relevant response or two.

Sounds good. I'll have a look at that other software, too.

Cheers :)
