Question on Installing New Terrain Mesh

I've got FSGenesis now (10m mesh) and I want to try out the FS Dreamscapes ProMesh Hawaii (and maybe California too).  The new mesh is 4.75m res.  How should I handle this?  Install directly over existing mesh?  I want to keep areas that the higher res mesh doesn't cover.  Can I just add this new mesh and will FSX know what to use (what is higher resolution)?

Thanks for your help! ;)

Hi, have those meshes and also uk mesh.
It wont replace your fsgenesis mesh, but will just write a new entry pointing to the new files for the terrain mesh.

Higher resolutions, just means sharper, more detailed terrain.

I find the Hawaii and California work well with Megascenery on top of the mesh.

You'll need to adjust your terrain resolution from 10 to 5, or vice versa to suit the new mesh.

Cool, Thanks!  I got the Hawaii and installed that and it really looks good.  So last night I downloaded the CA mesh (all 3Gb-just for CA!) and I'll install it today.  I also set my slider at 5m resolution.
