Creating a new view

No. Even though the VC in FSX is a separate model, like all compiled .mdl files you cannot "load it up in something and edit it," copy or not.

You could of course create an entirely new VC from stratch if you wished, but it is by no means a trivial task...  ::)

Just out of curiosity, what about creating a "cameradefinition" in the .cfg file using cordinates that would put the camera inside the cockpit and behind the pilot?

Added:  I was poking around, and that is one way hat an internal view is created.  The "Electra" uses that as a way of viewing from the left seat, and a few other interior shots.  Cool.  Time to play.  :)

Well, after poking and prodding and shoving some numbers around, I ended up with a crotch-shot of the pilot of a OV-10-A pilot.
