FSX exclude question

I've asked this on FSdeveloper.com so apologies if anyone sees this as a repeat question, but am having a problem excluding objects in FSX. Specifically, this involves city buildings placed by default (e.g., city skyline) - I want to remove these and add custom scenery. Have used ADE version 1.26 and FSX-KML; ADE permits editing buildings around an airport but the scenery in question is far from any airport. Using both programs, multiple tags have been used, including "Exclude___Everything", the latter of which removes roads, trees and such but leaves the darn buildings intact! Any ideas are appreciated.

Try Exclusion Builder for FSX.

Should work, I was able to wipe out the Chicago skyline, including the 'custom' skyscrapers and autogen using 'all objects'. Although 'custom' buildings will disappear when forcing a Scenery Library rebuild from within the sim, I've found that you have to restart FSX to see the autogen exclusions.

Similar to ExBuilderV2 for FS9 but does allow multiple excludes in the same .xml/.bgl. Make sure to 'save .xml' on exit so you can re-open and edit if necessary.
