How do you convert XML's to BGL's??? I created an XML using the default Object Placer that came with FSX, dragged it over BGLComp, and nothing happened! The console window displayed for a half second and I think I saw an error message, but other than that, nothing! Someone please tell me what is going on and why BGLComp is not working.
Thanks!

The most likely reason is that there is an error in your xml code. If it is a small piece of XML then perhaps you can post it here so we can look at it.
There is a small tool over on FS Developer.com called CompilerHelper. From the main screen go to downloads and then Scenery Design and then Tools - it is in there. This will allow you to see what the error message is that is coming from BglComp. I think it works with the FSX version of BglComp

If your using the Mission Builder's Object Placer to create permanent scenery:
Take a look at the
Abacus Scenery Shortcut free utility, that will convert your mission objects to scenery without having to take the manual steps required by the SDK.
(I don't have a clue what those steps would be 'cause I don't have the SDK.

I'll try to get that Abacus thing, but here's the problem: I'm a kid. No credit card, and my mom's paranoid about identity theft.

There is a credit card field, but at the top of the page is bold red text that says:
Your invoice total is $0 so a credit card number is not required.
