MakeMdl erroring out over animation
Posted: Sun Mar 09, 2008 7:10 amI am a nubie to Gmax designing for FS9. When I link a tick18 rotational part to a tick18 transitional parent part to move the tick18 rotational part from loop start to loop end. Makemdl gives me an error report and refuses to export the .mdl.
If I use another tick18 rotational part as parent to move the first tick18 rotational part no problem. MakeMdl exports it like a champ. So the problem seems to be the tick18 transitional parent.
I can manage to get done what I need to using the rotational parent, but using a transitional parent would give me more control of the rotational child. I would like to know if you can link the 2 different animation types so MakeMdl will export. And how to do it. Any help will be appreciated.
