FS Design Studio Problem

Postby Dan Morera » Thu Jan 24, 2008 10:42 pm

Hi guys, I just started learning about creating scenery for FS9, so I got FSDS 3.0 I have already installed MakeMDL and BGLCOMP and have created the path for the program to ge tto them.

The problem I'm having is that when I try to save an object file (.bgl) I get an error about MSXML4.DLL and I can't save the bgl. I downloaded a version of that file but don't know where to put it, I guessed in the same folder as the MakeMDL.

After failing to save I get this error on a notepad:

Running model

Start! (_temp.x)
Loading X _temp.x...
Processing...
Model units are 1.00 units/meter
Sorting by Material...
Welding...
Generate BGL...
Done!
Generate crash tree 1 (728 bytes)
Assembling: _temp.azm
Done!

Here are a couple of screen shots maybe this will help:

Thanks in advance

I think I found the fix for this. Another question is there an application that can convert objects from .bgl to FSDS project format?
