Default terminal buildings in RWY12?

Postby microlight » Sat Oct 13, 2007 3:50 am

Hi all.

Just back from a holiday in China, and have been inspired to put together the airport at Jiu Zhai Huang Long (at 11,000 feet!) on the eastern edge of the Tibetan plateau that I flew to, as it doesn't exist in FS9. I've done the runway, taxiways, apron etc. using AFCAD2, and was thinking of using RWY12 to place some of the default FS9 terminal buildings. But RWY12 doesn't list these, although it does list the default vehicles, control towers, bridges and other buildings.

Can the default FS terminal buildings be placed using RWY12 (and if so, how do you do it), or is there another program that I should be using for this?

Thanks all!

;)

I am working on a project using Instant Scenery, that appears to have quite a large selection of what looks like default terminal components available. Only thing is, they are compatible with FS9 only - the program itself is capable of designing for either FS9 or FSX, but only some of the included object libraries work with either version of sim. So if it's just for FS9 that you are designing for, this might be of some use. NOTE: Instant Scenery has a demo version, full is payware, but I am not certain how much you can design using just the demo.

Thanks for the response - I've looked up Instant Scenery and the demo appears to be limited to 30 days and a 50 mile radius of Seattle. Might be a buyer...
