How to use effects

This is a real noobie question but, I was wondering if anyone could tell me how to use effects in scenery. I have Rwy12 and SBuilder and I want to put fire around objects to make them appear on fire.

I know of an EZ-Scenery effects library at AvSim (ezeffects.zip), but again, I don't know for certain if it will work with Rwy12, and I don't remember if it has a fire effect. Hope this helps.
