I decided that I want to modify my BAe 146-200 aircraft to feature autobrakes.

The 'Autobrake' gauge is within the '737-400.gau' which is a multiple gauge file.

As to modifying the effectiveness, I don't have a clue.

Hi John.

You can adjust the braking strength in the .air file (use AirEd), in line 1101 primary aerodynamics. This certainly affects the parking brake, although I don't know whether it would affect the wheel brakes too - don't see why it shouldn't.

;)

Martyn,

Thanks for the idea.  I'll dig into it.  Of course if I edit this opart of the 737 comples multi gauge file... it'll change the 737's brakes too  ;).  But since I never fly it.... probably does not matter.

In the config file of the aircraft... there is a parking brake scalar value.  Will changing THAT change the brake's effectivelness so I don't have to go into the .air file?

And have you ever "published" here on SimV the APU gauge stuff that we were working on?  I am still using the beta version that was done a long while ago.

best,
