how can i place objects such as hangars in fs2004
the object i want to place is xml

Go find the Scenery SDK from Microsoft.
It has a compiler in it for converting XML scenery stuff into usable BGLs for FS.

The easiet program I have found and I use all the time is Arno's Obplacer program.
http://www.scenerydesign.org/forum/local_links.phpFollow the instruction but all you have to do is slew to the place you want you object, switch to the obplacer program and place the object, easy!
