There used to be a program called CfgEdit, although I think that's far beyond gone at this point.

The textures are quite there, as are the VCockpit entries, that is no problem, I just meant it is a bit of a long term job, adding a gauge, looking where it is in FS, than go into editor again, correct the position a bit, go into FS again, change planes once for FS to update the panel, than look where it is.... And so on, till the first gauge sits right... than there are many others to do... I did it tha tway once, took me a day for a simple B-17 cockpit...

This is why I kept my DVC gauges on their own seperate planes and $**.bmp files. Sure makes it easy since you don't have to worry about gauge location.

Try this:

Create a bmp the same way I described above.  Now find the gauge entries in the panel configs of the aircraft they are already in.  Note the size (first two numbers) and make a new shape on the bmp that is that size in pixels.  Now move it around and resize it (keeping the same ratio) until you have it where you want it.  Now zoom waaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyy in and find the location of the top-left pixel of that shape.  It will tell you where the gauge needs to be placed (third and fourth numbers) and the size tells you how big (first and second numbers).

If that wasn't clear, I can clarify it all.

CFGedit still works, just certain gauges wont show up and some will make it crash.  Ive done some panel editing using CFGedit
