more scenery questions...

Ok, lets say for example i downloaded some scenery objects from SimV for EZ-scenery and wanted to use them in a scenery i was going to distribute. Do i have to include the model of the object(s) as well as the texture in my scenery for the objects to correctly display?
If so, how do i do this without the objects showing up as a copy in others EZ-scenery menu? (if they have EZ-scenery of course

)

When compiling your scenery as a .bgl file, everything you have modified/added within will be included in that file, and will work in a similar manner on any other computer. When working with "library" objects included with a design program, both the objects and textures are carried over into your compiled .bgl files. The only time you need be concerned about inlcuding textures is when you have created unique ones that are mapped to objects that you have created yourself (using Gmax or FSDS, for example). So as far as including the original models in your upload goes, this is not necessary.
Once you have created your final scenery project, test everything out by moving your working copy to a safe location (e.g., desktop), and replace it with the files to be used in the upload. Also keep a backup copy on removable storage just in case.

For the user to see the library objects you only have to include the library .bgl and .bmp files. These should be packaged in their own folder(s), not mixed in with your 'project' files. This allows the users to place the files within their 'object libraries'
