An airport created solely with AFCAD2 does not lend itself to having any exclude code functionality. The exclude= code only works when written into the scenery.cfg file.
I use FlattEx to create the initial Exclude= code and then edit it by hand until it's what I want. This I do by creating a NewScenery/Scenery/Texture and placing the *.bgl file(s) in the NewScenery/scenery folder.
This new scenery must be Added to FS9's Library
One of these days, I may experiment with placing the exclude= in another scenery listed in Scenery.CFG; hmmm . . . sounds interesting . . .
If one has a separate scenery folder for their new airport it's no big deal to write an exclude= code for the desired area: it's just North; West; South and East (coordinates counterclockwise); e.g.,
Exclude=N49 56.72,W126 39.27,N49 56.30,W126 39.18,all
// Exclude=N49 50.34,W126 39.43,N49 55.94,W126 39.32,all
The remmed line ( // ) was created by FlattEx and the functioning one was edited my me.
