AFCAD question

Just recently downloaded AFCAD2 and Runway12, am starting to learn them.

Question.  I modified a small local airport, saved the BGL file as instructed, but when I open FS9, no change in the airport.

The BGL file is in Add-on Scenery\Scenery, FS9 did a re-index when I launched it, Add-on Scenery is at a higher priority than default scenery, but still no change seen.

The only dimension I changed was to slightly widen one runway, I didn't make it longer, or change any of the other runways.

Any ideas?

when you opened FS and had a flight at that airport, did you check the map for updated info?

if you did, what you should do is make a temp drastic change (ex: add a taxiway in some random visible place) and reload FS. if no no change report back.

Here's what's funny.  I added ILS feathers, and they don't work either.

OK, I tried putting a random taxiway in, no dice. ???

I also took the taxiway out, changed all the runway dimensions back to original, but left the navaids, change to concrete from grass, and light marker changes, and still looks exactly like original.

Do you have any other 3rd party addon AFCADs installed which may cause a conflict with this airfield?

Well, I think I solved my problem, but it's strange :o

I went to settings on FS, added area (add-on scenery) and deleted the old area (add-on scenery)
