Im starting on my virtual cockpit modeling. I was wondering about placing gauges in the virtual cockpit.

I heard somewhere that you could position them within gmax. Simply texture mapping them onto your panel. If this is correct, how would I do this?

Also, is it possible to actually model the ring around the gauges? Instead of just having your gauges flat.

Also, vc lighting! Ayone know anything about lighting your vc?
